Enchanted Forest
Enchanted Forest is a seasonal attraction in Turner, not a year-round Salem weekend stop. On October 24, 2026, its official website said it was closed for the season and would reopen March 20, 2027. Check the operator's calendar again before making a future trip. Do not use the old daily hours in directory listings to assume the park is open.

Gilbert House Children's Museum
Gilbert House offers children's exhibits and indoor and outdoor play at 116 Marion St NE. Its posted hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the entry gate closing at 4:30 p.m. General admission is $16; infants under one and members have free admission. Check the operator's full admission rules, holiday closures and current play-area access before visiting. Outdoor play is not an all-weather indoor activity.

Marion Square Skatepark

Oregon State Fairgrounds
The historic Oregon State Fairgrounds hosts the annual Oregon State Fair, concerts at the L.B. Day Amphitheater, swap meets, expos, and year-round community events on 185 acres.

Riverfront Park Carousel
The carousel at 101 Front St NE is a short indoor stop beside Riverfront Park. Entry to the building is free; individual rides are $2. Card purchases have a $5 minimum. The operator lists regular hours of Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check holiday and maintenance notices before leaving. Sensory-hour dates and free-ride arrangements for people with disabilities are on the visitor page.
